CAESOK Membership

All the members of the Society other than student members shall be life members. Application for membership in the society shall be submitted to the secretary of the society in the prescribed format with copy of all supporting documents proving eligibility for membership. All the membership shall be provisional initially and will be confirmed only subject to the decision of the Executive Committee.

Eligibility

An application for membership should possess a minimum qualification of M.D.S. in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.
And who is:

  1. A Keralite registered with any State Dental Council.
  2. Or any person practicing or permanently residing in Kerala.

Types of Members

  1. Founder Member

    All members who have registered on or before 30th April 2002 will be considered as Founder Members of the Society.

  2. Honorary Member

    Any member who has attained the age of sixty by the year 2002 will be considered as a Honorary Member. Induction of Honorary members after 31-12-2002 will be at the sole discretion of the Executive Committee. Honorary Members shall be selected on the basis of significant contributions in the field of Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics.

  3. Life Member

    Any member with MDS degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics and have joined the Organisation after 1st May 2002.

  4. Student Member

    Keralites enrolled in a full time postgraduate programme (MDS) in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in a recognized University and recommended by their Department Head. The student member shall have all the rights and privileges of life membership except the right to become an office bearer and the right to vote. Student Member shall be at liberty to become a life member on fulfilment of the conditions for membership and by paying the subscription amount once for the life time membership.

For conversion of Student Membership to Life Membership

  1. It is mandatory to keep the payment receipt issued by CAESOK while taking student membership.
  2. The payment receipt is required for online updatation for student to life membership.

Subscription

The Executive Committee shall decide the subscription rates for members from time to time. The subscription rates fixed at present are as follows:

Life Members:Rs.4,500/-
Student Members:Rs.4,500/-

Payment Methods

Cheque/Demand Draft(DD) in favor of Conservative and Endodontic Society of Kerala / CAESOK payable at Ernakulam.

Cessation of Membership

  1. Membership will be terminated automatically upon the member delivering a formal notice of his resignation to the Secretary.
  2. By death of the member.
  3. Conviction of a member by a criminal court for an offence involving moral turpitude or due to the prosecution of a member in a court of law for a criminal act or any other act which in the opinion of the Executive committee renders the member unfit to continue as a member of the society.
  4. On being adjudged an insolvent.
  5. Upon the failure to pay dues to the society within one month of the amount falling due.
  6. Discontinuance of membership for reasons other than voluntary resignation or failure to pay dues shall be by an action of the Executive Committee. The person against whom an action is initiated shall be entitled to appear before the Executive Committee and give explanation before any action is taken. No member is permitted to proceed legally or otherwise against the decision and activity of the society on a particular matter as long as he/she is a member of the society. The executive committee shall be at liberty to proceed against such members and may terminate his membership. Any readmission will be subject to the decision of the Executive Committee.
